FSX Westland Wyvern: In the next 24hours

Post by sketchy74 »

Hi All,

Skippy Bing and I have been pottering around with this one for over a year, however finally it is ready for release within the next 24hours, allowing us to crack on with newer projects.

Features Include:

External stores are represented by tanks which appear automatically they are filled from the fuel and payload panel in FSX.

Additionally 1000lb bombs will appear under the wing and fuselage if the appropriate payload stations are loaded. It is also possible to have them appear as droppable stores in a suitably modified saved flight.

The aircraft has a fully functioning virtual cockpit with 3d animated gauges and switchgear, including a settable radar altimeter and retractable gun sight in accordance with the Pilot's Notes.

For FSX Acceleration the Wyvern comes equipped with catapult attach points and tail hook to allow virtual carrier ops. It also includes a full set of Virtual Pilots notes and a Paintkit.

It will be available here: http://www.nazcastudios.com/sea-hawk/wyvern.html

Here are some unedit screen grabs (other than sizing)

Is that 'Flook' on the nose of a Wyvern?

'Chad' would say "Wot no FS9?"

Pity, but perhaps one will arrive later. Well done the FAA is becoming well represented in both Fs9 & FSX these days.

Ooooh errrrr...... :)

That looks like a seriously nice bit of kit, well done guys.

Luckily I've just built a new machine and the dark side beckons.....

Looks great! Glad to see carrier functionality, too. Steadily adding to my Acceleration carrier aircraft.
