ISDT ATR72-200/500 released

Post by virginblue »

Just to give you a heads up that ISDT has now released the A/R72 in both the -200 and -500 version, just like their ATR42 that has caused quite some interest here on the CNB forum. Download from the ISDT website or AVSIM.

Apparently until now no liveries whatsoever available, only the ISDT house colours.

Let's hope some liveries from the British Isles will be available soon. Airlines I can think of that operate the ATR72 or did so in the past:

ATR72-200:
- Cityflyer Express in the Landor, World and Union colors
- Aer Arann in two different liveries (?)
- Atlantic Air Transport
- Gill Airways (did they ever operate the ATR72 in AF colors and in their latest c/s?)
- Aurigny in two different liveries
- British World
- KLM uk
- Air Contractors

ATR72-500
- Aer Arann

Not a lot, but still a few.

Well, I tried it.............nice on the outside but..........only the default alias=beech_king_air_350\panel!!

Have now binned it until a proper panel appears or some-one knows of one, also handling appears to be rather like MS default a/c quality.....am I just expecting too much?

As for the panel, IIRC there are some freeware panels around for the ATR42/72. ISDT is developing a panel for FSX, but are refusing to do so for FS2004.

Handling has been an issue with the ISDT ATR42s as well, so it probably will need an updated FDE.

Just noted on AVSIM that ISDT already has released 2.0a and 2.0c versions of the -200 and -500. As per here, some issues have been fixed:
http://www.isdt-israel.com/sys/mboard/v ... ?f=8&t=112

There is now also a ATR72-212 version available on the ISDT website (the beefed up -202 that is the basis for the -500). Don't think that the -212 was ever operated in the UK (unless the BWorld one was a 212). They are not planning to do the -201 (the one with the forward pax door).

Hello

The only decent ATR panel is for 500' from Flight 1.

Slightly over £30, but the product is little old.

It has working "Hotel mode" and is still bit different from the real one, but to date there is nothing else.

Best Regards
Tomasz
If flight sim hours counted half of us would be flying for the airlines by now.

A quick update was has become available over the past year or so at Flighsim:

Aer Arann ATR72-200 EI-REA 1st color scheme:
http://flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=144556

Aer Arann ATR72-200 EI-RED 2nd color scheme:
http://flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=144559

Generally speaking, those who are interested in Asian/South American airlines should check flightsim as a lot of reapints for the ISDT ATR72 have become available for airlines from there.
