A748 and AW65 New Zealand operations

Post by RAF_Quantum »

Hi Guys,

We have opened new routes in New Zealand for the HS748 and the Argosy. The routes follow those of Safe Air for the Argosy and Mount Cook Airlines for the HS748.

Argosies ZK-SAE and ZK-SAE will be based at Auckland NZAA and Christchurch NZCH. Currently, these two aircraft are at Luqa LMML and Paris LFPG.
HS748's ZK-MCA and ZK-MCB will be based at Auckland NZAA and Te Anua NZMO. Currently these two aircraft are at Queenstown NZQN and Hong Kong VHHH.

If anyone would like to ferry either of the two Argosies from Milan/Paris or the HS748 from Hong Kong please post below. If more pilots volunteer than airframes available I will draw names out of a hat.

Regards

John

edit : LMML = Luqa :doho:

I may not have the time to fly the 748 down to NZ but will certainly enjoy flying it once it is there. What sort of length flights will it be to move the 748?

Hi Richard,

Well, the 748 is already half way to NZ with it's current position. However, there's still approx 23 hours flying time to get her 'home', so if you averaged say 3 hour flights (depending on ocean crossing points) you'll have about 8/9 sectors.

Hi Ben,

Haven't seen much of a queue forming yet  so I'm sure you'll be good to go. Give me a couple of days to work a route, or see what you come up with and we can thrash it out. I think it will be a nice scenic route.

Regards

John

Thanks for the info John, if mobody else wants to take it i am willing to give it a go. That is providing i can work out a good route over the next couple of days, any help in that area would be much appreciated. On an initial look it looks like, phillipines, New Guinea, Aus, then across to NZ with the longest leg being the final one.

Hi Rick

Do exactly as you did before mate. Go onto FlyNET and apply to join the airline. We'll have you up and running in no time ;-) All is running pretty much as it was before FlyNET booted you.. just make sure you get the latest client off the main page :)
