- TERMS AND CONDITIONS -
1.) This model is freeware. As such no part of this aircraft may be uploaded or packaged for sale or profit.
2.) As a Beta release, the 727-100 will recieve little or no technical support from Vista Liners. We appreciate and welcome feedback however positive or negative on our Beta 727-100, however we will probably not be able to provide any real-time immediate support.
3.) The Vista Liners 727-100 Beta may not be uploaded to any other website except for http://www.eastern-va.com for the entire duration that the model is in Beta form. Vista Liners may release the Beta in later forms to other websites, and reserves the right to do so at their own sole discretion.
4.) No Paint Kit will be released for this model while it is in Beta form. Even so, no attempted repaints may be uploaded to any website (flight sim libraries, hobbyist sites, virtual airlines, etc).
5.) Being a Beta release, users should understand that certain parts of the Vista Liners 727-100 are still being finalized. The 727-100 Beta by definition is to allow Vista Liners supporters to test the aircraft, and to allow the production team to complete the project with some popular feedback.
6.) Any and all questions, comments, suggestions, concerns, requests for upload, bricks through window, gift wrapped bullets, etc should be directed to [email protected]

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I was beginning to think there was a second 727-100 doing the rounds that we didn't know about. If Vistaliners have amended the policy about repaints that's fine and dandy but you can see where are concerns were coming from when the readme and the website have contradictory info from what is being allowed now. We were just ensuring the developers wishes were not ignored.

a) using the nose of a B727-100 to gently nudge a person in the stomach, to dislodge a foreign object upon which they are choking :o , or
b) the recovery after an unintended diving roll brought on (partially) to an instability when on of the leading edge segments was deployed in cruise.

Nicely done Chris - You must have seen the NATCO training film as well - Their biggest mistake was erasing the the FDR and the CVR after they landed

In all honesty, it's just an airline operations thing. There's no real need for 40-flaps, so on most planes it's locked out, even on the -200s. However, the pin (or bolt) can be removed for short runway operations where the extra lift is needed. There are a minimum of 6 pieces of wood in all 727s....and finally how many pieces of wood are there on a B727-100?
1 in each wing fence (also wood cored) = 2
1 for the Flight Engineer's Tabletop = 3
1 for the nose gear hatch in the cockpit = 4
1 for each main gear inspection hatch in the cabin = 6
Some aircraft have wood sub-floored lavs, and some use a pressboard floor for the underfloor cargo area, however most use fiberglass in both locations.
