) I set about marking out a route on each one to do the Farmstrips circuit.Tonight I ventured out to the first leg of the North Wales section - Caernarvon to Talybont (or Tal-y-Bont?). The strip isn't hard to find from there, as it's basically a quick 31nm jaunt along the coast.
Being the total banzai merchant, I decided to buck the trend and go for a straight-in approach and stuff the consequences. I'm glad I did -it was just ace! Can't remember the last time I grinned so much in FSX.
For those getting bored of the ironing board level airfields in FS, I strongly recommend loading up the strips and giving them a go - it's awesome!
The best bit, though, was the take-off. Wack the throttle open with the parking brake on until it starts heaving the crate forward, then let her go, building up as much speed as possible before you start bouncing - then with each 'leap' try to get her to stay airbourne! It really rocks!
