Hi.
I have recorded some low-level flight of Rick's fantastic Hawk.
Flying in the Machynlleth Loop, using different perspectives.

Best viewed in high quality.

Right click on the links, and choose "open in new window".

Lovely Stuff Arni!

If thats the default Valley, there is a better one out there for FSX... but I'm buggered if I can remember who did it, but it is free!

It is not the default FSX scenery. It is Horizon's VFR GEN-X V2 running at the highest setting.
I am unaware of any freeware scenery for this area. Have done a search - but found zilch.
Cheers.

Hi Rick.

Thanks for that URL, very handy, there is RAF Brawdy there as well, which I have wanted for a while.
I already have the VFR Airfields Vol. 1 FSX - so will have to do a comparison, and see which RAF Valley to use.
BTW, I misunderstood what Ben was trying to say - the penny has dropped now

Yes ...still enjoying the Hawk very much.
I was wondering if there was a way to remove the visible "practice bombs remaining" box, yet still carry the bombs in the CBLS?

Hi Arni

sadly the droppable practice bombs are only visible when loaded via a saved flight or mission.

if i made them permanently visible it would look odd when dropping them as they will still be loaded.

if that makes sense ???

Ahhh, I was not referring to the visible external stores.

I wanted to remove the blue box that is seen at the top right of the screen when sat in the cockpit.

Sorry to be a pain.

Hi Arnie

i see what you mean but thats how they work.

just load the pods and not that saved flight then you won't have the bombs remaining window.

but you also won't have anything to drop.
