What happened with regards to all the spoiled food?
A bird in the hand will probably sh!t on your wrist.
Re: Freezer v Comet (The Final Chapter)
Hi Charlie
All taken care of, received one cheque on Friday as compensation for the first lot we had to throw away. Two more claims still outstanding. Takes 28 days to process each claim so will have another week or two to go before fully compensated.
Thanks Graham, very happy with the way Comet dealt with us on Saturday, could not have been more helpful.
Regards
Nigel.

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

I swear by John Lewis now for all electrical things. The washing machine, fridge and a new freezer all came from them, and the washing machine was £20 cheaper than Currys. And they actually take pride in their reputation for customer care and aftersales service. I got a free 2 year warranty on all the above items.
