I was just trying out FRAPS tonight
I had problems with quality :-( and trying to remove jerks
I could only do that by reducing the resolution in the game down to 1024 x 768 x 16 instead of my usual 1280 x 1024 x 32
What I need to know really is if this working OK on other machines
Still jerkey but perhaps someone could suggest some better base figures?

Make sure you turn off all non-essential stuff too Garry, FRAPS is a bit hungry on the PC. That clip looks great BTW!

Thanks trev
I'll try checking all is off next time
I had to run it several times before it was not too jerky
The replay certainly changed when FRAPS was activated so it's hungryness made itself well know
Funning thing is the size.........after putting it trough movie maker it was 2.83 mb while straight off FRAPS it was 456mb :o also it lightend up in MM and became easier on the eye as well.

Hi Leif
Can't comment on sound not having heard one
It would be nice if someone could come up with a vid with an accurate sound on it

In a word...yep
That would be great
I know from things like Viscounts that the sound does not often come out quite right on recordings but sometimes it does so it is not worth me checking myself as I would be none the wiser.
Needs your experience for something like this
Thanks
Garry
