Banned for asking for help

I have just been banned for asking for help , I wanted to use some pics from the gallery to use for my personal use as thumbnails in my flightsim. I have no commercial interest whatsoever.Some of you suggest I introduse myself. I am serverely disabled having lost my left leg to MRSA last october and there is a danger i will lose my other leg, my flightsim is all I have to stop me climbing the walls. so it does not help having that treatment from you rick. I suggest you get that chip off you shoulder.

Definately not David. I'm the only one who has that sort of access and I can assure you that you haven't been banned from anything. I set the Gallery up last year, and no one can download images from it, other than by right clicking on the picture and selecting "Save As"

To be honnest it was a bit cobbled together at the time, and I never really got round to finishing it, so it maybe that I've left some of the default security in place :think:

Hi all,

I've just checked and anyone can right click and download the images (any images) without being logged in, so I'm really not sure what the problem is.

I'd like to assure everyone, that we don't go arround banning anyone from anything willy nilly, and if someone was banned, it is usually explained why.

I hope David comes back and explains the issue he is having and maybe we can help him.

To be honest I'm a bit miffed, but there you go.

I had nothing to do with banning you or anyone else.

I am not a moderator even as far as i know.

slagging me off about a "chip" on my shoulder is not a good way to continue.

if you had been here like most of us you would have the context of why i was suspicious of your original post.
I did not ban you or even suggest it as Draconian rule has no place here.
