Lightning sounds

Post by sammach »

I have the Alpasim Lightning on my sim and would be grateful to anyone who could point me in the direction of a decent sound set for the Lightnings Avons. Thanks again for a great website and all the help and advice you give to enhance the use of Flt. Sim

Hi sammach..

This is one model I was content with I'm afraid so no alternative from me this time :) I don't think they're bad enough to change so try turning your volume up ;-)

Thats better ! I have put my hearing aid back in the lug hole.
Thanks for your prompt reply, Dave, in my defence I was flying the F1, I love the 74 Squadron markings, the alpha sound set does not include the F1, so I installed the sound in the F1 manually because before that, the sound was definitely a Lear Jet, maybe I have or had an installation problem or maybe I am just confused. I will go to the Alpha Sim forum and pester them, no doubt you will be pleased to hear that.
If I should ever come across another Lightning sound I will post it to get your opinion in the meantime thanks for your help support and patience.

Hi there :)

Looking back through my files, it appears the Alpha Lightning came out in 3 packs and by the looks of things, the early packs pointed to the default Lear :o I have pack 3 which covers all the 'T's and this comes with it's own soundset :dancer: No reason why the same can't be used for the others but of course.. you'd have to buy pack 3 to get it :-(

In the meantime.. if I see anything suitable, I'll let you know ;-)
