Just upgraded to day to the a LG widescreen 22in monitor, man what a new world this is from my 3 year old 19in lcd
Getting it all set up was a breeze, however, I have one question that someone might be able to help me with. I'm looking
for the latest drivers for it, I've been on LGE's site and can't seem to find anything.
Has anyone else had this issue, if so where did you end up finding drivers for your LG Flatron monitor please.
Thanks

Re: LG 22in Monitor
You shouldn't need monitor drivers unless you're using specialist models or need the colour profiles for CAD/CAM and graphic design work. Windows will detect it and install the standard monitor driver which for 99.9% of monitors works splendidly.Seaking wrote:Just upgraded to day to the a LG widescreen 22in monitor, man what a new world this is from my 3 year old 19in lcd

Thanks Chris I was just getting that impression, monitor was working fine on boot, did put in monitor cd and installed it's drivers, all
seems to be working great, just wondered if drivers needed updating, seems no is the answer.
Appreciate it, this monitor rocks !

Heh, welcome to the world of GBFO widescreen monitors
After using it for a while you will be amazed at how square (and small) normal monitors are

Re: LG 22in Monitor
Hi,
If you've got a second monitor output on your graphics card (most later cards have two outputs) then I hope you put the old 19" to good use, you'll wonder how you managed without dual monitors once you try it.
Regards
John

Re: LG 22in Monitor
Hi John, i had used twin monitors for about two days then it annoyed me to hell as i couldnt use FSX full screen and FS commander at the same time. So i now have a SFF pc running the old LCD screen for FS commander... However my plans are to get another widescreen and have it wall mounted above the other...
