Ah poop

Never mind.. perhaps Rick will pop up at some point and let you know ;-)

Rick posted somewhere here (was it on the Grey Hawk thread) about the PK and that the paints are done but not compiled for upload/download yet though this was expected V soon :) You should be able to open/save DDS format using the latest version of DXTBmp as far as I know Neil. I'm sure I've seen it there as an option

Regarding opening and working with DDS files, I recommend saving them using Imagetool rather than DXTBmp. Some people report having success and things working as intended but I've had nothing but trouble with DXTBmp working with .dds textures.

Hi Neil

the confirmation code will be in your spam filter mate like it is for about 75% of the people trying to activate the Hawk :$

Paintkit will be soon.

I was trying to allow Andy Knott a chance to release whatever paints he has done but have seen nothing so will release soon.(E mailed him 3 times but no reply so he must be at RIAT too on preview days)

this weekend will be a nightmare as i have not been allowed to Activate Hawks etc etc so Gordon @ RIAT all weekend is going to mean no activations at all from Friday to Monday
as it's a totally manual process and He's the only person who has the software to do the job as Brian is away too.

So no idea what will happen now???? :$

Rick

Hi Rick,

Neil is meaning the confirmation code (letters and numbers on the funny background) that you have to type in when registering. I have to say I can't see them either, and hence why I haven't registered. I know its the same forum software we use here (phpBB) so not sure where the problem is. I'm on IE7 and it works fine here and on that other forum we had, but not the skysim one.
It may be that its an early verysion of phpBB 3 that your running over there. The current version (3.0.1) fixed some issues in this area.

Hi Guys

I was actually expecting the paintkit to be with the livery pack.

that was how i thought it was happening.

I'm sure Ben will pop up at some point.
Being part of Skysim i am paranoid releaseing the paintkit inhouse will cause MOD problems so like the livery pack
they are independant downloads.

Regards
Rick

Hi Chaps,

I'll put it up shortly, just in from a day at the beach.
