Flying Legends Preview

Post by Kevin Farnell »

Yes folks, brought to you even BEFORE the event has taken place :o

I took the day off, hopped into my time machine (Mini Cooper) and set off to Duxford for the afternoon.
This is a really good way to see and photograph the participating aircraft, without huge crowds to contend with. I did however have to contend with the weather, which was great up until about 3pm. It then went very dark and the heavens opened.
Here is the preview. Looks like it's going to be a great show.

Great pictures Kevin you've really got me looking forward to Legends.

I have a horrible feeling I know the answer to this, but can you tell me if Sally B has all four engines? :worried:

Sorry Alex

Sally B still had only 3 engines today :-(

I'm sure this won't spoil your day - there's plenty more to see.

Thats a pity :-( , but as you rightly say there's plenty more to see.

I'm really looking forward to TFC's Gladiator which I understand took it's first post restoration flight on Thursday.
