From other sources I have seen you will be able to make either NF2, FB6, or NF30 version. A quick shuftie on the calculator makes the wingspan of the model at around 27".... :o :o :o

Very impressive size indeed...!!

Hi Brian

I was thinking of the nose of the 1/24 Spitfire which of course roughly equates to the forward nacelles/cowl of the Mosquito and thinking what a beast with a couple of those strapped under each wing

Sounds expensive but the scope for superdetailing is immense.

Not one to be knocked up in an evening, this could keep you entertained for many weeks or even months.....that could be eighty quid well spent with a fantastic result.

I'd love to see what an expert modeler could do with something like that. All we need then is a 1/24 Lancaster or Halifax !

I'm certain that I could make one Paul but sadly.. my hand isn't steady enough to paint the darned thing these days :-( Had to give up painting the logo's on the bike tyres due to a lack of focus!! :'(

Been thinking...the last aircraft model I ever built was the Revell 1/48 Mosquito for a girlfriend's father who was a navigator on them. After that I built the Matchbox 1/72 Flower-class corvette, and then I laid my tube of Britfix 77 down for ever. Aye Dave, I don't think my hand or eye is keen enough for it now either. ;-)
