Thought it might be a type 42, but it was not riding high enough out of the water.

This is caused by a lack of ballast, i.e. Sea Dart missiles.

It's nowt like a type 42 in reality mate.. not even the later stretched variety. Another clue is the 'F' suffix on her side number and F234 is HMS Iron Duke.. a Type23 Frigate. Not a bad looking model.. lacking in a bit of detail but great for AI ;-)

Lack of ballast isn't a problem with 42s these days, it's more the fact it's all so high up!
