HI Leif

Yeah I noticed that  .

I was thinking also about the sound but they are running it without the fan.

I have that whirl and chatter so clear in my memory but no way of getting it out :-(

Tony

Yep two blue BAF was nice. I used to see G-AMLP sometimes on the BAF Coventry service..perhaps it was based there at that time as it was always G-AMLP, or was when I saw it  .

It would slip in as an extra or in lieu of a Carvair.

From what I can tell G-AMLP G-ANVR, G-APAU, G-APAV got to wear this full livery.

uuummmm this is making my mouth water Garry.... I'll thinking of all sorts of scenarios for shots. Any suggestions on a good appropriate airfield to use?

Kind regards

HI John

Lydd

There got all over the place

Southend was the CAB base with aircraft based at Southampton, Bournemouth (moved from Sou until the runway was built then moved back), Jersey, Coventry.

Regular, at various times, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, Belfast, Stranraer, Bembridge, Guernsey, Liverpool on regular basis with airports on the Continent including, Le Touquet, Calais, Cherbourg, Ostend, Paris.

They could appear anywhere with G-AMWA recorded as passing through Karachi...obviously someone else who uses my navigation method :worried:

The Stranraer- Belfast and Southampton-Bembridge did not last long

I'll have a rummage round to see which scenery looks best for some shots in preparation.

Kind regards

Not a Superfreighter, but a super Freighter event. A great video of the Freighter that some dedicated people are working on in New Zealand at present. Well worth a look - and a listen :tunes:

'fraid not Brian :-(

I am fiddling arround with deatails so there is not further liveries to show yet.

Awaiting some info as well but hope to soon start getting some of the models compiled.

Problem trying to get details form a poorly documented type that was built in small numbers and has been extinct for 33 years.

For example I still don't know why four Air Charter/Channel Air Bridge machine had the pax door modified.presumably to shift the bulkhead back giving between 5 and 7 feet extra, but without at least knowing the reason it becomes guess work with the interior :dunno:

The FDE and the soundpack are still being worked on as well. :)
