Came across this on you tube and appologise if it has been posted before, I am sure that DaveB would have seen this though, or even been there?

Tks Nigel/Tony ;-)

Not seen that footage before.. was busy taking my own ;-) The boy's had missed where I was so sadly.. I got lumped in with the main crown instead of a more advantageous position but cest la vie :)

I remember seeing a green XK8 going up and down the runway.. didn't realise the git was filming :@

Nice to see 'No.1' again (Ron Brant) who has since passed away :-(

You beat me to it Nigel. (Saw it when Techy put up link for his footage.)

I remember dashing off to see that, but got stuck in a jam on the M25...and missed it!! :'( Damn Mercedes for getting rid of that runway! :@ Still, good to watch it now. :)

It's also here... http://www.vimeo.com/822315

Hi Chris :)

That's the same footage but slightly shorter than the other one.

I notice that engine 1 is out of kilter with the other three though closer to No.4

When they started the first taxi.. all 4 generators were online. As they turned near Wellington Way.. one went offline and they came back on 3. They turned near the crowd and made another run. As they turned again for the return.. another generator went offline so they came back on 2. Ron being Ron.. he wanted to do 3 runs so turned again at the start point and off he went. On the way down.. another genny died and on turning for the run back, the last genny died :o We've not had all 4 running since! Makes you wonder if the old girl was trying to tell us something  :worried:
