Resolution help please.....

Hi guys...and (girls..... )

My monitor has a native resoltion of 1680 x 1050 and recently i got rid of Catalyst control center and loaded ATI Tray Tools....which seems much better...

Now i have a weird problem......

I can set desktop resolution to the native but i DO NOT get the option for 1680 x 1050 in FSX.....

And Ben i DO NOT NEED you to say "ATI " ok...... :roll:

Help gratefully recieved by a free trip in a London Ambulance of your choice on solving this....I thank you..... :tab:

Rename, or move your FSX.cfg and let FS rebuild it on start-up. Hopefully it will then see the card and offer the resolution.

Done that mate....but i stumbled upon a weird way to solve it.....

I turned on DX10 preview and low and behold.....i get 1680 x 1050 x 32 back in the screen selection.....?

I have artifacts showing in some addon aircraft but everything is set to ultra high......???

Anyone come across this....DX10 card users....?
