Female pilot figures?

Re: Female pilot figures?
Suppose I'm used to it, my ex wife held a CPL, the F/O in my 727pro is very attractive and we had a very good female captain with Air bridge on the VC9 and Argosy.
Bit like a topless beach, you don't notice the straining shoulder harness after a while ;-)

Peter, just out of interest what model is she from? If the pilot is that well made then Id like to see the rest of it!

Re: Female pilot figures?
Jonesey, she was in the FSDSuperCub in FS2002 and the pilot's name was Miss Chika...both she and the aircraft were lovely. It was easily the best Super Cub of any FS model
..I do still have its Gauges file and the blue knob that controlled the Constant Speed Prop that I fitted to the original Bandit, came from that Super Cub...the blue knob in the bottom right corner of the first picture:-

I wish I could have teased Miss Chika into Bandit as well...but that was beyond me :flying:
If I manage to find a pic of the FSD Super Cub I'll post it over on Screenshots.

Bye for now.

Re: Female pilot figures?
Peter, is that the invisible man I see there as well?
Not really fussed either way as long as the figure looked like something closely resembling human (definately not sheep).
Regards,
Chris

I can't say I've ever seen a male figure flying an aircraft that looks like me so male/female... it really doesn't bother me either way.

Re: Female pilot figures?
I can offer 22 models of female pilots, 13 of which are now Captains. Personally I think they would ALL take offence
at the characture seen in a recent Citation 500 offering in FS9 although I must admit Peters model looks like a certain
Captain that flies for AAY that was born in Kenya and learned to fly at Wilson. I had the pleasure of flying my BiAnnual
observation ride from Vegas to McAllen texas and back recently with our most senior (not oldest) Madam Captain, Jen
is probably one of the better sticks I have had the pleasure to fly with, and showed one hell of a lot more CRM than many
male captains I have flown with - especially on a trashy night approach onto a short runway with all that was available was a
BC approach.
Ok I have had me rant - Ill get my coat

Re: Female pilot figures?
I don't think that has anything to do with it RW mate. I believe the question is (or what this quick poll was based on although not particularly well advertised as such) how you feel about flying a FS model where the external view shows a female at the stick/yoke e t c. This is nowt to do with how good, bad, qualified or otherwise female pilots are or what professional/amateur milestones they have achieved in the field of aviation ;-)NOT a male chauvinist when it comes to Drivers

Re: Female pilot figures?
Fine Dave - I was commenting on the few female figures available in FS and how they tend to be "overdramatized"
The rest was my usual irrasscible self
;-)
