Nosewheel steering

Post by Paolo Lao »

Hi all, I was looking for another solution for the steering nosewheel during airborn thing, I'm using ACM to input 180 deg. steer angle for the nosewheel, not all of the planes respond to this command, some still steer, am I missing something or is it programed in the model? :cpu:

cheers :kissu:

Hi Paolo

sometimes it's programmed into the model (my models are programmed) newer ones anyway

and on others is set in the aircraft.cfg in the [contact.points] section

which aircraft are you trying to edit ? then i can tell you if it's programmed or not.

the easy way to tell is steer the gear once airbourne

if it steers visually when flying with gear down it's not programmed.

if it won't move once airbourne it's programmed into the mdl file.

Regards
Rick

Hi Rick, the one I am fiddling with right now is the argosy, I can't seem to fix it,. So some of it are programmed in the models, if this one is, it's ok I'm still going to fly it anyway,. if there's an alternative on how to make it stop on or during airborn please tell me how to do it.

thanks alot for the pointers

Pao :dancer:
