That's an astounding picture. It's sad to think that we've become so cynical about space travel nowadays. And to think that a century ago we were barely putt-putting around in airborne wood & canvas contraptions...
I wonder how long it'll take for the conspiracy "theorists" to start chatting about the Mars mission (much like they have for the moon landings).... :roll: :roll: :roll:

Actually its odd - the NASA channel is a gimme here on cable - they were piping life feed from the JPL yesterday and
today

I watched the landing process on NASA TV and the pictures it send back an hour later...It certainly didn't land in a crater so I find that picture a bit strange :think:
