Hi all,
After my spat with SP3, I've got FS9 up and running again - (amazing what the framerates are now that my system is back to SP2 and the HDD is not bloated - interestingly also with the original Graphics drivers....)
Anyway, as getting the whole lot 'together' is a bit of a task, I'm currently using Glacier Bay v2 as my stamping ground, (yet to re-install Mcleland field), with a few add on Ac such as the chippy and the Viscount.
Anyway, the main question - something I have not really had an issue with before - I suspect it *may* be simple to fix.....? :brick:
I am, fairly regularly, having aircraft perform like a car bunny hopping. Strangely, the worst offender is the default Beech Baron, and the other default Ac can be (little) better at times. It's almost like the Autopilot is half on and it's limiting any manouevre - for example,in a 25 degree bank in the Baron to turn a circuit, the A/C 'pulls' back toward the level and the pitch goes a bit crazy - up or down giving a 'bouncy' effect - and making it impossible to make meaningful 'short' turns. All the A/C are fine in the 'straight' - although I might need to look at sensitivity, as a slight pull back on the stick gives a 'yanked back' 'input'.
Also, inputting aeleron and/or rudder (using joystick buttons) seems to have zero effect initially before the Aircraft then seems to catch up with the input and go into a roll of aerobatic speed....
The strange thing is that I have not had this problem before, the sim is running better than ever, and it seems to be the default AC that are most plagued?
Anyone any ideas?
Of course, the majority of the time, I won't be using default A/C, but I am partial to the odd flight in them if I've only a few minutes spare and don't have time to gawp at add-ons on the external view... :flying:
