.. and that was a darned good card too Ben (ATI9700pro)!! It kicked the 6600GT I had to death and ran (IMHO) as well as the Sapphire x700.. until it failed one sad day 
Am soon to be rejoining the ranks of the great unwashed (ATI) users again with a Sapphire HD2900XT 
I hope it'll perform as good as it looks

Well i bit the bullet......I have returned to win Xp and loaded the Driver for my 3870 X 2....1 Gig card and the difference is.....WOW..... 
Happy bunny..... ;-)

Should be fine Dave. Mine is a 580 but its runing all those SCSI drives (6 of them) and my 8800, so 525 should be plenty.
