.. and that was a darned good card too Ben (ATI9700pro)!! It kicked the 6600GT I had to death and ran (IMHO) as well as the Sapphire x700.. until it failed one sad day :'( Am soon to be rejoining the ranks of the great unwashed (ATI) users again with a Sapphire HD2900XT :cpu: I hope it'll perform as good as it looks :lol:

Tks for the HU Tony. Let us know how you get on as I'll be targetting this one for the 2900 ;-)

Well i bit the bullet......I have returned to win Xp and loaded the Driver for my 3870 X 2....1 Gig card and the difference is.....WOW..... :D

Happy bunny..... ;-)

Seems like lots of fixes and improvements Dave..... :thumbsup:

Get a 3870 X 2......shes a beauty....

Should be fine Dave. Mine is a 580 but its runing all those SCSI drives (6 of them) and my 8800, so 525 should be plenty. :)
