Lotus Smart Suite

Post by Filonian »

Hi All,

Does anybody happen to have a copy of Lotus Smart Suite 9.8+ they no longer need?

I am trying to fix up one of my members computers which has an earlier version, and they have data bases they do not wish to use.

It is beginning to look like a complete reformat of the HD - and he has "mislaid" his copy - probably put it so safe it cannot be found, and anyway is an earlier version which is not full compatible with XP.

Any copy which is suplus to requirements, name a price and I will contact him to see if he is willing to shell out, and before you ask - YES he is a Yorkie.

Thanks in advance,

Graham

I have a feeling I found a copy of the latest (last?) version on e-bay for peanuts. For some reason my old man has a liking for it despite 99.9% of the files he gets sent being in Office format, so guess who has to convert them if them come in Office XP format...

Thanks chaps, after battling with the b****y files since 06.00 with only partial success, I really need the belly laugh some of the responses provided. Would you belive, the files are taking up to about 20 minutes to open each time? :brick:

Ben, thanks for your very kind offer, have sent you a PM.

Once I am sure I have all safely converted, I will re-format the box for my friend. Just dare not do it until then, as they contain the entire Bridlington R.B.L. membership and Poppy Appeal details. At the moment I have them safely copied to my external HD - and on disc (belt & braces)

I would have to emigrate if I lost that lot.

A relief to get back onto my own box before I go completely   :@
