Hi Ricjk..

(typo but I quite like it)

I thought the 18th was Saturday.. not actually checked or had a look online to see when it really is or what's flying. I have a ticket for the 18th so that's when I'll be there.. and this appears to coincide with the airshow  However.. if it's raining, I'll be giving it a miss :cpu:

That's a shame - if I'd known I'd have made arrangements.

"Car or bike?" - that's a good point - I had to sell my bike 2 years ago - and haven't been to Waddington airshow since (huge queues - though last year's was cancelled anyway).

Think I'll have to hire a moped for this year.

Won't be there as my annual airshow budget is going on Flying Legends, and hopefully one other wherever the Vulcan wants to meet up with me. Anyone fancy Flying Legends, by the way ?

Weather for Sunday according to BBC is good; sunny, 17deg C with a fair easterly. Don't look at Metcheck, that has light rain for a good part of the day (up to about 15:00). Personaly I'd look on the bright side and take some shades and a brolly ;-) . Unfortunately I cannot be there as Father in Law taken seriously ill recently and other half currently looking after him (and under other circumstances this would be the perfect occaision to go).

Have fun those that do go I hope the BBC have got it right and not Metcheck.

Cheers,
Chris

Been down to head office this week south of Cambridge. All the AA signs are up for miles around.

I join the M11 at the Duxford junction to come home but have never found time to visit :-( . Always too late to stop.

I think I need to plan my next visit for the Monday after an airshow and go down the previous day ;-)
