I've ben watching that over the last few days..........last I heard was is was going to try and start it Thursday of this week :think:
He was talking about hoping to get it started and running then the next goal getting it into a taxyable condition.
There has been no talk of it ever flying again and judging by the trouble the Candaians had since the early 90's sources parts and then modifying Varsty Parts I doubt it will evet fly again even if was was in an otherwise good condition. One major problem was a shortage of prop blades with time left.
Still it would be nice to have it active at least as the only airworthy one seems reluctant to come out of hibernation :-(
That aircraft is one of two complete SAFE Air in the North part of South Island and it's a pity they are so far away as photos of the inside of the cockpit would help me finish my project.
