Bristol B170
As I see there are some of these aircraft on the CBFS roster I assume
it's close to its release date.
Why are these aircraft based in the US to start with? Is this a FLYnet
thing or do some of you guys fancy a long flight. ;-)

Re: Bristol B170
They are not all across the pond, there is one each parked at EDDM, EGCC and LFPG. It seams that whenever FlyNET creates new aircraft it randomly places them at one of five airports (the three listed above plus KJFK and KORD).

Hi Steve..
That's about it. When you order 'X' number of aircraft.. some will be delivered to your home country, you can guarantee that at least one will be delivered to LFPG.. one to EDDM and if you order more.. they'll most certainly go to KORD and KJFK. We have no control over where aircraft are delivered. ;-) Depending on the type of aircraft.. we usually have them 'transferred' to airports either here in the UK or at least 'closer' to home. Of the last 4 I ordered.. 1 went to EDDM, 2 went to KORD and the final aircraft went to KJFK. I'm flying 1 of these back to the UK.. I will NOT be flying the other U.S. delivered aircraft back. These will be transferred
The B170 isn't really close but it's now in beta which means it can be flown. If you've been taking any notice of my FlyNET sig.. you'll have seen B170 flights being made over the last week.. these done in my 'Private' aircraft and at my own expense :o The model was good enough for wider testing so we purchased a handful for full shakedown trials
So there you go ;-)

Dave,
I don't mind flying the odd aircraft back across the pond. Had my eyes on that Argonaut in South America as it looked like an interesting flight back. Take me a while to do it though.

Re: Bristol B170
Hi Simon..
There are scheduled flights available for that already. I think Steve flew it down there and found it a bit of a chore to fly it back again. I don't think he has any intention of flying it back in the near future if at all so if you fancy buying a ticket out there.. give him a bell. It should be a nice little earner for you too ;-) It's nice to go somewhere totally different every now and again and South America is about as different as you can get!

I thought I'd sold that Argo to some dodgy looking character who said he was exporting exotic plants from Columbia.
He paid cash so I wasn't going to argue.
