Nice indeed, but how did you get it to work on the Alphasim one? I thought that couldn't be camo wrapped? Or is that the Mike Stone Valiant?

Cheeky, cheeky! I don't suppose you'd give up that trade secret per chance? I'll put you top of the Sea Hawk beta test list :prayer:

OK Steve....seeing as your one of the kind fellas that helped me get my painting career on the road....... :goodman:

It was quite simple really.......I think when i started helping you on the repaints for the Valiant way back when......I used Multiply as the overlay paint option....WRONG...! ! !

Thats all there is to it......

Oh and i re-mapped all the panel lines aswell....!

Don't tell anyone though..... :worried:

Well, Techy my old friend, you have me thoroughly confused. The tex maps I had were not mapped to feature a different texture on the top and bottom of the tailplane - I can't see how using multiply would fix that issue. Unless you have a newer version of the Alpha model to what I have that had different mapping applied.

Shoot us over the link to where you got your model from sometime - I'd love to see what's going on!!

I am confused as well mate......I thought i was doing everything i did before....?

But this time for some reason the overlay was much easier to do than the first time i tried it.....?

Why and how i don't know....?

Tis the same model and the only thing i did was NOT use the multiply feature....?

Will show you the finished paint first via PM.....

Tony

Edit.....Unless it was re-modelled and we didn't know about it....?

Yeah that is highly confusing. Maybe it was re-modelled or re-mapped I don't know, but all I know is that we couldn't do that before, and if you can now, summat must have changed. Still, the result is good, and I am very pleased to hear it!
