Pictures Needed : Seafires?
I'm after some decent quality images of Seafires to knock up some repaints for the FSX Realair Spit. I know the marks won't be strictly accurate and it won't have a tailhook but it'll certainly do the job. I'm running into something of a stumbling block however actually finding decent images of the earlier Seafires that don't have the bubble "teardrop" canopy. If anyone could oblige or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

umm, silly question, but if you're after a 'Malcolm' hood variant why not paint the free Seafire from Aeroplane Heaven?

Re: Pictures Needed : Seafires?
Because I'm working in FSX and the AH Heaven Seafire exhibits a few problems in this version of the sim, plus I prefer the Realair Spit by miles even if it is a bit incorrect for a Seafire. I remember Jens-Ole Kjølberg did a rather stunning Seafire repaint for the old FS2004 version of the Realair Spit and I used to use it all the time, so I thought I'd expand the selection a little for the newer FSX release a paint a few different Seafire schemes for it.umm, silly question, but if you're after a 'Malcolm' hood variant why not paint the free Seafire from Aeroplane Heaven?
Obviously I've already tried a google image search and not come up with anything of enough detail to warrant repainting really other than the Kennet Aviation Seafire, however that Fleet Air Arm Archive may warrant some useful leads, thanks.

Did you know Jens-Ole Kjølberg's FS2004 repaint will work on the FSX versions? You'll need to change the files names, but I think otherwise it's OK.

Indeed, however I felt the time was nigh to bring a few more Seafire schemes to the model.DaveG wrote:Did you know Jens-Ole Kjølberg's FS2004 repaint will work on the FSX versions? You'll need to change the files names, but I think otherwise it's OK.

Just checking
The more repaints the better, as far as I'm concerned
