Just started this monster, dunno how I fit it all in, painting for HJG/UKMIL as well as modelling and working a 42 hour week?

Living the dream? :dunno:

Nice to see plenty of filler there to patch up Airfix's dubious quality!

Looking forward to seeing it finished ;-)

If I had room, I'd have built one myself
Used to have the GR1, many, many moons ago. I remember being amazed at the detail.

Yup! Building a 1.48 Hasegawa F14A meself. Jeepers its big - comes with amazing details tho'- real rubber tyres etc etc. Too big for here; donate it to Duxford or Bruntingsthorpe I reckon!
Boeing. heres a good tip if you're currently building - simple and effective. Found it recently.
http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2 ... nopies.htm A good all round site I reckon. Heres the previous articles page http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/archive.asp and helpdesk page http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/helpdesk.asp for those interested.

Have a good weathering tip too if you want - but sure you're more of an expert than me.. I need all the help I can get
Looks fantastic so far; love the cockpit detail. Good luck with it...
