Hi Gaz..

I must dash out and get a lottery ticket as I'd guessed that's how the tail should look and painted it so!! :welldone:

I noted the bottom reg on the LH wing so had already guessed they weren't blue. It was the inner portions that I'd been scratching my head over :brick: Silver all the way works for me. That shot shows a side reg not visible on any other pic I have so cheers once more for that matey

Some small point....I'm sure she had the standard BEA logo.that is with the red arround although it does not show well on pic ;-)

Cheers Matey :)

Hmm.. is sure doesn't look like that on any of my other shots. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it looks rather homemade on the others! :o

No problemo.. all info and comment gratefully received

EDIT..
Here's one of Pete's shots at full chat..

Hi Dave

I could be all white but I don't see why it would be.....I'm sure I saw something showing the red and the white and blue could kill the red on those pics due to contrast.

It looks slightly the wrong style but would if it were just the outline but as it was part of a celebration I would thing the main logo would be coshe.

The red lettering barely shows but if that was outlined in white I doubt you'd see the red at all

Maybe BB or someone will have more info :dunno:

Hello Matey :)

Yup.. I see where you're coming from.. more a pencil outline than what I've done below (just to see how it looked in original if not a little squashed form)..

Image

The red certainly set's it off doesn't it. However, the closed end of the 'B' will have to come off as that isn't on any of the shots. Can't see why they did it that way as it that doesn't make sense either

I think it is one of those fiddle until you happy jobs.

Hopefully someone who knows more will see this.

The actual logo was open at the front but it was designed to be on white so the design sort of gets away with it.

One of those that didn't really work well irl :-(
