To be honest, I still find the PSS Vulcan incredibly high detailed, even now. I seem to remember someone saying somewhere that the flight model wasn't very accurate, certainly its not the easiest thing to fly around. I almost always have the airbrakes out on approach and take a long flare, otherwise it can be very difficult to touch it down succesfully.
If the IRIS one is FS9, then I may well buy it, as you can tell, Im a bit of a fan of the Vulcan.
Well James.. that link to 'flying ccts' is still active (if you don't have the B2 FM already) and you'll see that you should deploy airbrakes on approach. Unfortunately, the degree of deployment can't be duplicated on this old model without an unusual hardware setup so you're doing it right anyway ;-)
I too still find Dotcom's panel and gauges on the Vulcan very engaging even if the view out is completely pony!
Iris are looking for Beta testers for the B2 Vulcan with a set of criteria for the applicants, this is a great chance for someone with real Vulcan knowledge to get to the source.
RE Above, it would be really handy for IRIS to have someone that has real knowledge and possible flight experience with the Vulcan to test it for us...
RE topic, ive read on the JF forums that an FSX update is due soon!

Thanks

It's ok I've answered my own question... it was flightcraft. The reason I was looking was that they did a 'free' tanker version, with a couple of flights. They've long gone by the looks of it, but by using 'wayback machine' I've retrieved a copy.... if anyone wants it it's here (needs a panel and sounds) http://web.archive.org/web/200512180924 ... anker.html
Kind regards

I had not heard of this version. However after attempting to download from the link siveral times, using the default XP downloader, Get Right & another Download Accellerator, I always get a corrupt file. The latter download accellerator says "End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a Zip file, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part Zip file."
So I guess the link you posted is just the page to the link & not the actual link its self. (Sorry if that sounds Double-Dutch).
Sooo....poster who had it on a cd in his toyroom
Shame I was looking forwards to having a crack at tanking from a Vulcan too.
