Hi,
What if I was looking for a laptop that could run FS9 - would I be able to get one with a decent video card in and what should I expect to pay ?
Regards,
Degsy

Well, I'm running FSX SP1 at 10/15 FPS (Usually!) on a £500 Gateway Mt6832b.
It's got 224Mb shared Graphics....should run FS9 great....just never really bothered to try!

I bought an Acer 5920G about six months ago for £799 and it is now selling for £599 from Tesco Direct (with triple clubcard points until Sunday!).

I run FS9 with World of AI traffic at 100% - usually at 9 Dragons Kai Tak scenery. I have the sliders at around 75% to the right and the FR limited to 30 fps. The only thing that really drops it below that level is clouds. I only fly DM's fab four plus HJG 707s and an occasional blast with the RFP 747-200.
Hope this helps.
Ian
