FSX Nemeth Designs EC135 Helecopter

Post by Rick Piper »

Hi Guys

Just purchased the Nemeth Designs EC135 and i think it's a corker

Working on a UK livery for it though as it comes with lots but none UK registered.
comes with a great psd Paintkit that is happy to open in Paintshop Pro 7 (ie: not got 100s of layers)

It's a gorgeous model and seems easy to fly.
does not take 2 hours to start (if it starts) like my Previous ND helicopters
Lovely VC with just about everything clickable too.

only minuses i can find is it does'nt seem to have shiney paint or glass on the outside but otherwise perfect
& the guys have mostly missed the fact you don't need 90% of the textures in every livery folder so repaints would be 90 mb plus :dunno:

easy fix as i manually made a common texture folder myself ;-)

I have a soft spot for this one as it kept a mate alive after he was knocked off his Motorcycle when we where out on a Sunday Ride
without it he would have bled to death :$

9.5 out of 10

Regards
Rick

i need to contact the ND guys to see what copyright i need to follow for uploading repaints as it's not very clear

Nice one Rick, I wonder if I could adpat it to the EC-135P2 plus we use at work?? does it come in a police fit, i.e a pod, FLIR camera and nightsun, final thing how much is it??

NB just found it $40!!! a lot of money and its FSX... plus no police model... will stick to freeware, mind you read the forum and it has obvious bugs..nose down attitude in hover??? don't think you would do much hovering in that! I will use the freeware version out there until someone does a proper version. Shame really they release somthing ( not cheap either) with obvious flaws??????
You would also think they would take on board a real time EC135 pilot so check it out??

Do you dabble in the 'Dark Side', Tony?

The thread title isFSX Nemeth De... etc!

BTW - looks good, Rick. I like the registration, it suits it well :dancer:

Best,
Myles

Myles I did not read it properly and TRUE I dont like the dark side, in fact I like my toast a bit rare.. I find it odd that folk can like something when it flies incorrectly, guess you can fogive if its free, but payware needs to be RIGHT :@

Hi Tony

it's 29.74 euros from http://secure.simmarket.com

no police fit (well no pod & NightSun etc.)

It's FSX only (i don't think you use FSX ?)'

But they might add some bits

Cheers Rick, shame its FSX and no police fit either :-( I have been looking for a decent 135P2 to paint, I did ours but only gave it to a few at work to "play with" as I was waiting for a good Police model with the high skids belly pod camera etc etc.

Hi Tony

your going by other peoples findings and treating them like your own. :dunno:

it flies ok for me and it looks superb.

all FS models have faults.

the reason it hovers nose down is the way FSX has helicopter fdes.

otherwise they are at about 60 degrees nose down when cruising.

so i guess they have tried to sort out that ACES induced error.

i don't see a problem at all and it flies far better than any other helicopter i have tried in FSX apart from my Sycamore beta..

Rick

This, I'm afraid, is well in advance of my repainting abilities, but if someone else wants to pick up on this rather stunning paint scheme please be my guest:

Hi Chris

can't do that one as it's painted in Chromaflare paint.

changes from purple to gree dependant on angle light hits it.

does look good

I was just painting my Essex Air Ambulance not painting others.

Rick
