Yes, they are slow with their emails. No reply yet; guess they are probably busy over the Easter hols. Though I thought my offer to pay for their F4U restoration would have got a response
New Attacker book? Do you have the ISBN, etc? I've got a copy of the Richard A Franks book, but no cockpit images.
While I promise you to check old issues of Aeroplane (I have them since 1976 up to now) in my archive , I apologise because the "new book " was actually the Franks's one, since I thought it was a recent release..
Went to the FAAM today. I only just made the last Carrier Experience with about 10 seconds to spare before the door of the Wessex closed. I did my best to get some shots of the Attacker, including one of the cockpit from the gantry. Not great, but at least its a start...
Originals on request.
Enjoy
Andy
P.S. If there are any requests for more shots I plan on returning to FAAM in two weeks, on the 17th.

Nice photos. Shame you couldn't get into the cockpit, but I can make out the EGT, tachometer, and fuel quantity gauges. What's the instrument that appears to have found a new home on top of the right glareshield? I don't think it's the altimeter as the numbers aren't in the correct position.
