UK GA scenery from Alphasim!

Post by Trev Clark »

In a further change of direction, AS have released Huddersfield and Sherburn in Elmet (yes I know they are silly names, but they do exist) for FSX only.
They are exactly Flightzone standard but are only 8 quid the pair and a great improvement on the default FSX stuff.

I'm a long time supporter of AlphaSim aircraft... I've bought loads and will defend them to the hilt! But is it just me or is their scenery always...well just a bit cartoonish? I mean the textures, models and most paints on the aircraft are, IMHO, really good, but the scenery? Oh well, I'm sure they'll improve.

IT SHOULD READ

They are NOT exactly Flightzone standard
Another senior moment on my part Dave, I have about as much use as a 'chocolate teapot' for FSX scenery at the moment, so have not bought it.....I need an early night

I've not looked at the screenies Trev and like you, FSX scenery (for me) is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. I thought.. for one terrible moment.. that perhaps there was a God after all and his name might be.. well, let's not go there hey ;-)

Situation normal :cpu:

Indeed. I believe it was the UKSD chaps that joined forces with them - certainly a worthy bunch to have on your team!
