DC-4 update available tomorrow

Post by jensbk »

Hello all,

I've just uploaded a new version 2.1 of my DC-4 / C-54 package to Avsim and Flightsim. It includes FSAviator's latest, improved flight dynamics, a more accurate panel, improved detail in the virtual cockpit, and support for FSX SP2.

An early USAAF C-54 in 'Olive Drab' camouflage (the 9'th C-54, actually) has been added as well - in this way, the package covers the entire period 1942-2008 (I just checked that Buffalo Airways still has a few 'DC-4' (actually C-54G) in use.

A similar update to the cargo versions (Avianca and USAF) will follow in a few days. And this will be followed by Winston Churchill's personal C-54B, RAF EW999.

Best regards

Thanks for that Jens. May be a stupid question but I assume that it's ok for FS9?ATB EricT :)

Hi Tomliner,

Yes, the new DC-4 is for FSX and FS2004. Works equally well in both simulators.

Best regards
