but the story continues, these chaps were working on my just like a set of johovas witnesses, showing me stuff about fsx and the likes. so eventually i took the risk and bought fsx. after installing and setting up with the help of larry i started up the sim and went to see what i would get. i was stunned, i was prepared for a little let down but was very surprized with what my machine was doing. various test and even with multiflight i was level in frame rate with larry. the scenery was outstanding as it was more real than fs9 for me and the sky was outstanding. alas i miss active sky but i have to make do with what i have. i know i have not got all the sliders to the right, but i can take comfort that over the next year i can get to build my own system that will take this game further and better.
so to sum up, if i had done this alone i would have been very disapointed with both computer and fsx. i did try the demo last year and that had clouded my view as the fsx and also the bad press. i'am glad i waited the year and found the help of fellow members of cbfs. i great place to belong to.
a big thanks to all who put up with my very basic questions on computers and walking me through the fsx set up. now where's the flight stick i've got to go and explore.
Welldone! Just be very carefull in the near future... Your hand will tempt fate and click that fatal FS9 unistall and you will become a full sith lord, ah i mean FSX man!
