I always laugh at those TV ads for Viagra that carry the 24 hour warning. Hmm, come to think of it, it may have been a 4 hour warning. Actually, even if I took the stuff, I doubt I would have that problem. At any rate, I don't worry about it, well because ...... oh heck ok - that occurs only in my wildest dreams!
Actually, to try to be some help there are a few anomalies such as this in FS9. A long time ago I found a file that fixed some of them "Six Default Scenery Fixes" by Joshua Robertson of 3D Softworks Design Studios. It's available on Avsim. Unfortunatly, I don't think it addresses your particular problem. Might be worth downloading or at least zip diving because his email is included in the readme file and he might be able to tell you how to fix it.
