If you have some time to spare...

....(and who doesn't? ;-))

This is probably old news to some, but I don't recall seeing this show on this side of the pond. There's some nice footage of Canopus about a third of the way through. Hosted by rock star/airline pilot Bruce Dickinson...

Ahh, two of my favourite things in one video....

I've never seen it on this side of the pond either I must admit.

An excellent series. Wish we had Discovery Wings available here because I'm sure it's got a lot of good shows.

I especially liked episode 2 not only because he rightly chastised the British Government of the time for the failure of the Trident, but because he found out why they call the 727 a "Pocket Rocket". :)

AFAIK the USA does have a Discovery wings.... :dunno:

We used to have Discovery Wings in the UK but it became Discovery Turbo and now Aircraft hardly ever get a look in after cars and.....gulp....trains..... :'(

Excellent series....I loved it when he took the 727 for a test spin......

We used to have Discovery Wings, but it changed to the Discovery Military channel. It still shows the military aircraft shows, but no more commercial, or private aircraft.
