Hi Dave

Air Fast was an African operation....or something away away from the UK....may have been Far East  Remember if you do 'EG in ABC it still had the Red wings......right until scrapping as far as I can tell and I don't think it served Air Bridge in ABC livery....at least not woth titles...it did in BEA basic and then was painted for the lease to Air Fast and that other title it wore. This was cheap paint as on the dump it faded off allowing the BEA to come through clearly.

I think ABC was behind Air Fast :dunno:

The Titles on EP are probably only just becomming visible. The white will be slowing burning off and thrinning so you can be excused :)

Hello mate :)

Well.. the shot I'm looking at for Peg is Air Bridge full Red/White/Black with Bridge changed to Fast. Difficult to tell if Air Fast was a different company or still Air Tenggara under a different name :dunno: . Can't really see her wings so would have got it wrong.. assuming it to be like EP/ES  As you say.. it was really a foreign operation anyway so I don't think I'll bother :)

Hi Dave

PEG was painted in ABC for the Air Fast/Air wotsitt lease

She kept her red wings...I don't think she flew for ABC in the ABC livery.

I have pics after she was withdrawn...still ABC livery Air Fast/red wings :)

But not really a UK operator :)

Hello mate..

I have one of her wearing ABC/Air Fast after she came back but the blurb with the shot goes that she returned to service again later mit Fast removed and Bridge returned. As I said though.. I can't see the wings and in any case, Air Fast was a foreign lease :) I suppose it could be released at some point in the future to 'add to' the others even though she wasn't operated over here wearing that title ;-)

Something for the future perhaps......general release of course :)

Ah yes.. Occidan-do-dar :) Quite forgot about that little tinker ;-)

I think there are probably enough variations on a theme now. All the aircraft have their own unique paint/reg combinations and a few have more than one. If another odd one pop's up.. well.. you never know :cpu:

Hi guys,

I have a b/w shot of APEG in full Air Bridge livery, can't see the wings I'm afraid, nor can I date the pic, looks like it may be at Prestwick though :dunno:

Remember the Everest double glazing ad with the late Ted Moult leaning through a window, asking for the wind to be brought on? Starter for ten; which Vanguard supplied it?

cheers

Hi Fraser

I was just looking through my stuff for Brit reference and I found a pic of PEG with Airbridge title.and red wings.....

That Everest advert I have been searching for now and then for ages...nothing turned up yet :-(

Also I found a pic of the BEA liveried Merchant man with British Airways titles and no 'Cargo'....it was PEO
