Cookies....?

I am specifically having a problem with the Avsim library - it states I have not allowed cookies or some such nonsense. Anyway, I am not the only one - found this:

So if the problem is with Avsim, they are aware apparently.

Thanks for the HU Nigel......And yes i think AVG let 2 slip through....I got 2 trojans on my system now.....maybe its time to bite the bullet and finally get payware...?

Still Nigel......My AVG e-mail virus checker keeps failing also.....Be interesting to see if the people at Avsim have AVG intsalled....maybe thats the problem...?

I use Avast so in my case at least, the problem is strictly with the Avsim servers. You may be experiencing the misfortune of having two different problems at the same time! If so, you have my sympathy.

Other websites are behaving the same way Nigel.......Even allnodes and simviation are not letting me in....?

Library Issues

As most of you are aware, we have received the emails from you, AVSIM is having Library Cookie issues at present time. We are working dilgently with Network Administrators, the Network Operations Center, and internal staff to correct the issue.

On February 23rd, 2008, AVSIM will be upgrading the library server to ensure the largest, most available bandwidth for flight simulation in the world.

Until we can rectify this situation, we ask that enjoy the other sections of our site to include the largest forum, advertising, and news on the web for flight simulation. WE WILL be back shortly, bigger, faster, and better then ever.

Thanks for posting that, it's clarified the issue as I too was having problems with Avsim and cookies, although I'm on XP and use AVG the fact it was the only site with this issue made me think that neither Windaz nor AVG were to blame, but wondered what the hell was going on.

Not that I'm very interested in a thousand variations on the theme Airbus repaint, but occasionally you do get something that is a nice surprise.

I am getting strange things happening on nearly all my saved pages now.....Photobucket isn't working either...?

E-mail still down..... This is the error message....looks like AVG....?

Hi Tony... Looks like you've been nobled mate. I'd get AVG of quick smart and try the demo version of Trend / Kaspersky or something. When you get something new on there disconnect it from the internet and do a full scan.... might take a while though.
