PSS 757 Problem Problem

Post by buff »

Hi guys,

I know this aircraft is not really a popular one, but i purchased it recently and have been aving some very irritating troubles with it. I bought the latest up-to date version (1.3) and every time i have flown it on a flight, when i have landed and am taxying to stand, flightsim always quits,(This is a problem which also occurs on ALL CLS aircraft......) contacting PSS is hopeless as they seem to have gone out of business and are not answering support e-mails. I wondered if perhaps anyone here could possibly help me with this issue??????

Thankyou. ;-)

Hi Buf

Sorry I can't offer a fix but I can confirm the demise of PSS as we know it........I think something is on the go but I forget what.

As to your particular query an qualification is needed.

You say this happens on all PSS but does it happen on anything else??

Does it happen at any other time...even ocassionally with PSS?

I don't know if this will help , I have a strange problem with the I-Fly 747 (freeware)
it works fine for about a few weeks, after that, FS craches when I try to fly it....
different althogether from your model but, causing the sim to crash... I havn't any idea.
maybe a modeler has come across this while making theirs and has some insite.

my fix is to reinstall the ac and I'm off running again..... for a few weeks anyways

airboatr,

I have tried several times re-installing the aircraft but to no avail, the problem persists

I would suggest deleting your fs9.cfg and letting flightsim re-build it as it sounds like a general problem with flightsim, even though its not affecting all aircraft/.

Failing this I would recommend re-installing flightsim and seeing if that works :dunno:

I think i may have found the source of the problem for now,
I always run AIsmooth in the background, but today I flew the 757 without this external program running and the game did not quit.. :welldone: !!!

so i'll see if this is the case and if not then i'll try the CFG deletion/ Re-install,
thanks for the Tip though!! ;-)

Cheers

Glad to hear that it might be sorted, its always a pain when one program has a problem with another in Flightsim, leads to hours of hair pulling at the computer trying to work out WHICH program is causing the fault!
