Autogen??? How to get rid in certain areas?

Post by Chris Sykes »

Hi all... its something to do with the range scenery, but basically ive got problems with autogen trees being in the way of objects im wanting to place... and they look od with trees all over the object areas... Is there a way of getting rid in a certain area or something?

Hi,

You didn't mention if this was for FS2004 or FSX. In FS2004 I use ExcBuilder to create the exclude bgl files. You need to exclude ALL OBJECTS to get rid of autogen. And make sure you press the spacebar while in slew mode to point true north before defining the exclude rectangle within FS.

Hope this helps,
Tom Gibson
