That's it exactly Nigel I was begining to think I'd dropped a right old goolie.. like offering bacon sandwiches at a barmitzva but it looks very much like everyone was on 'sunday shutdown'
Anyway.. interesting to see the airframe moved yesterday on those remote-controlled flatbeds.. especially as the crew call em Thunderbird 1, 2 and 3!
I have to agree Joe.. that sort of thing is absolutely outrageous and serves no common good. If a pilot had long hair in his teens, smoked 60fags a day and got pee'd up every weekend.. who the hell cares. Shoddy... very shoddy
Well.. I've not seen these phots and will not be seeking them out either as it was obvious from your comment that their content is not exactly flattering. My example was pulled completely out of the air and done so to highlight the futility and irrelevance of publishing 16-year-old photographs
I hear it commented that this sort of thing sells newspapers but does it really?? I honestly don't think so. If you regularly have the papers delivered, you end up reading whatever drivel they contain rather than actively going out to buy a copy because of the story it carries!
