Ok gang. I've been looking into buying a new monitor. Some of the new flat panels look good, but most have a native resolution of 1280 x 1024. Any deviation from this and the quality just isn't great.
I am tempted to buy an Iiyama or Sony 19" and that way I can set the resolution to what I like without affecting quality.
SO what do you lot use? For 18" Flat panels state 19" etc
17" Iiyama flat screen, vey stylish but boots up slamon pink everytime until i quickly pull the power cable out and stuff it in. Started doing that (full time) right after the guarantee expired
The resolutions available cause circles to look like ovals, and there's no screen height/width adjustments like on a CRT, to fix it. But you get used to it.
There's also some shadowy black lag to FS view movement, but you get used to that too.
All in all, I'm happy with it as it gives me less eye strain. And the resulting picture is HUGE on a computer desk.

Viewsonic 21" + 1024 x 768 CRT, I usually run 1280x1024 for windows but in FS I lowerit one step to keep the frame rates up on my now older ATI 9200 video card.
