I know I'm late getting this rolling as I've had no time the last couple of months. But I finally uninstalled my well-used copy of FlightSoft HongKong 2004 and got 9dragons settled in. It's far superior. You can see that my hundreds of hours of practise on this approach have paid off. This was my first attempt with the 747 Classic. Not bad, eh? :dancer:

OK Mr Smartarse, where's the traffic, then? We-ell, dunno anything about AI but it certainly seems lonely without it :$ Anybody suggest a suitable package that's easy to install?

Oooh... like them things they strap to C130s when they're in a hurry to go somewhere and they can't afford a jet?

Nah! Practise is what it is, brothers. Practise and more practise.

I remember a VC10 Captain telling me this in the bar of the HongKong Yacht Club one evening |-)

You just keep the crosshairs in the centre until you hear the middle marker beepbeep beepbeep then you count to five and gently turn keeping the nose inside the curve of the lights letting it drift back out and straighten up gently so that your wings are level as you cross the inner marker with the centre line dead ahead. Good plan, but not many of them managed it :dunno:
