I need help (as usual)

Post by Rick Piper »

Hi Guys

I need pics and data on the gunsight used in the Hawk T1/A series Mk50 & 60 too

Ferranti ISIS D126R is the model of the gunsight.

Also Pylon markings for the hawk.

Probably Andy Knott or similar for this.

Regards
Rick

pylon markings are very similar to the Tornado markings, as the Lau's they carry are the same

Hi Guys

I was aware that some A4's use the same gunsight along with a few older Mirage aircraft and some other Asian AC too but just can't find photos to make the gunsight for the T1A.

Hi UKMIL i am not that up on Tornado stuff as i am more a trainer type guy but will see what i can find.

So far all stencils are legible and don't want to start blurry non readable for the pylon markings but all shots i can find are too low resolution for reading what it says where.

But thanks for the replys.

Regards
Rick

Hi Rick,

Have located a couple of books on the Hawk (20meg) which I will put up to my space for you in a short while. Not had much luck on the gunsight but plenty of good stuff for pylon marks and other stencils and some good colour profiles as well.

Will PM you with the link when they are up shortly.

Regards.

Hi Rick,

Have you tried asking over at the Key Publishing forums? There are a lot of people over there who specialise in this kind of stuff, and somebody will no doubt have a photo, if not the real thing. Here's a link:

The model looks fantastic BTW.

Best wishes
