My first DC-3 flight was in G-AMSV out of Yeovilton on the Air Day in I think 1986. Price was £20 for 20 mins. Remember when the engines were wound up for take off, I closed my eyes and listened to the 'music', only to be asked by the stewardess 'are you feeling ok?'. Couldn't have been better!!

Thanks for that Garry.I would say to anyone who hasn't yet done so to do it while they can.I have been privelged to fly in most of the AA Classic fleet at Coventry or elsewhere.It is well worth making the effort.

My one and only flight in a DC3/C47 was in KN452, the last RAF Dak operating in a semi ? war zone, Aden, Khormaksar to Habilayne a forward strip in Aden flight time I think was 20 minutes and loved it
