Hmm, how about Pomp & Circumstance, Jerusalem, Wood's Fantasia on British Sea Songs, Jupiter from The Planets (Ivow to thee, my country), Nimrod from the Enigma Variations - oh, sorry I thought it was the Last Night of the Proms when you mentioned funny hats and clothes. Well, there is always good ole Havergal Brian - one or two of his 30 or so symphonies!

I'll get my coat.

You could have G-APER and G-APEJ flying in formation to the strains of Romeo and Juliet

That pigeon shot reminded me when I was undertaking some extra duties around the city centre, it was cold on two of the days I was out on 'ops' and had me a cap on. There I was standing outside this shop when I felt this splat on top of my head. On removing said cap and inspecting it I found the distinct remnants from a pigeon and thinking that it may bring me luck just shrugged it off.

The very next day on 'ops' I stood elsewhere (I try to learn from experience) Another splat......this time on my left shoulder and side of my neck. I can certainly say that it brings no luck at all, just dirty washing!! :@
